Under den gågna helgen avgjordes den första upplagan av World Cup Volt Hockey. En fantastisk upplvelse och lraftsamöing från organisationen och samarbetspartners. Under prisceremonin under söndagseftermiddagen uppmärksammades också en person som betytt mycket för World Cup Volt Hockey.
Vår huvudpartner Collen AB och organisationen World Cup Volt Hockey Volt Hockey har instiftat ett Fair Play-pris som går till en spelare som visar ett extra stort hjärta i sitt sätt att vara och leda. Att vara en förebild och en guide är precis vad World Cup Volt Hockey ska vara.
Samarbetet mellan Collen AB och World Cup Volt Hockey handlar om allas lika rätt att delta i idrott. För att göra detta möjligt krävs modiga partners. Collen och Neal Greany var en av dessa. En person som såg möjligheten och vågade med hjärtat vara med och lägga grunden för World Cup Volt Hockey redan 2020.
Idag står vi här efter två år av pandemin och nu slutfördes äntligen den första historiska upplagan. Tyvärr är Noel inte med oss längre, men för oss kommer han alltid finnas där. Därför har vi tillsammans med Collen AB inrättat ett pris för att hedra hans minne.
Noel Greanys fair play-pris som i helgen delades ut till Nora Järn.
Priset ska givetvis gå till en spelare som vågar bryta mönster och vågar göra det där extra. Precis som Noel. Detta görs av denna spelare som med sitt sätt att vara visar att han är en riktig ledare, för sitt lag och för hela sportens utveckling. Hon har redan kallats turneringens järnlady och är grym, rättvis och spännande på samma gång. Mot hela sitt lag och mot motståndarna. En hjälte som får sporten att utvecklas!

The collaboration between Collen AB and World Cup Volt Hockey is about everyone's equal right to participate in sports. To make this possible, courageous partners are required. Collen and Noel Greany were one of these. A person who saw the opportunity and dared with his heart to be part of laying the foundation for the World Cup in Volt Hockey already in 2020. Today we stand here after two years of the pandemic and the first historic edition was finally completed.
Unfortunately Noel is no longer with us, but for us he will always be there. Therefore, together with Collen AB, we want to set up a prize to honor his memory. Noel Greany's Fair Play Award.
The award should of course go to a player who dares to break patterns and dare to do that extra. Just like Noel. This is done by this player who, with his way of being, shows that he is a real leader, for the team and for the development of the whole sport. She has already been called the Iron Lady of the tournament and is fierce, fair and exciting all at the same time. Against his whole team and against the opponents. A hero who makes the sport evolve!
